Payment FAQ - Makers

How and when do I get paid? 

  • We will send you a check in the mail every 2 weeks. Please be sure to fill out the correct payment address in your Payment Settings.

How does sales tax work?

  • For your convenience, we will be calculating and charging sales tax to your customer based on the sales tax information you provide in your account settings. Upon charging the customer for sales tax, we will then pass the full sales tax amount to you with each pay period. You are soley responsible for remitting sales tax to the states you owe. You can manage your sales tax settings in your Account section under Shipping & Sales Tax.

Will you send me a 1099?

  • Yes, you will receive a 1099-K form at the end of each year if you have more than $20,000 in gross sales for the year.

Are any other payment methods such as Direct Deposit or PayPal available?

  • During this Alpha phase, we are actively looking into solutions to provide payout via Direct Deposit and PayPal. We would love to hear from you with feedback and requests regarding improving our Payments offering. Please email us with any ideas.
