What can Product Edit do for me?
Product Edit lets you fix and refine an existing, published product without rebuilding it from scratch. You can make small text updates, adjust minor design elements, and add new templates to improve the customer experience.
Because you're editing the existing product rather than creating a new one, it keeps its sales history, views, and other metadata. That means you don't lose the marketplace momentum a product has already built.
Each edit is reviewed by our Content team, so access is managed based on the needs of the Creator Community. Please submit edits only when you genuinely need them. Using the tool sparingly is what keeps current wait times down.
Do’s and Don’ts of Product Edit
✅ DO Correct safe line, cut off text and border issues
✅ DO Add or edit templates for existing Marketplace products to improve the customer experience.
✅ DO Update dates and images for time-sensitive products like calendars, save the dates, invitations, and seasonal or holiday announcements.
✅ DO Correct spelling and grammar.
✅ DO Submit only the changes you actually need.
🚫 DON’T Make significant design changes that would make the product unrecognizable to a repeat or existing customer. These will be rejected. If a change is that substantial, create a new product instead.
🚫 DON’T Submit an edit if you haven't actually made any changes, or if the original product has zero views and zero sales. In that case, just republish the product and delete the old one.
🚫 DON’T Use Replace Product to change metadata, titles, tags, descriptions, or a product's merchandising style. You can update these without Product Edit access, under "Edit details" on the product page when you're logged in to your store.
Got it. So how do I submit an edit?
- Open the product. Log in to your store, then go to the product page for the product you want to edit.
- Open the design tool. Click "Edit this design."
- Make your changes. Adjust your product in the "Design" tab, including front and back layers if your product has them. When you're happy with the result, click "Next."
- Confirm your merchandising options. This brings you to the "Options" tab, where you can adjust your merchandising settings. (If merchandising settings are the only thing you want to change, you can do that without Product Edit access.) Click "Next" to continue.
- Go to the Review stage. Click "Next" again to reach the review step.
- Find the Replace Product button. Make sure the "Sell" tab is selected, not the "Buy" tab. You'll see the "Replace Product" button below the "Sell it" option. If you don't see it, you either haven't made qualifying edits or don't have access to this feature.
- Start the submission. Click "Replace Product." This opens two more review stages.
- Submit. Click "Submit Revision." Your design goes to the Content team for review, which usually takes from 30 minutes to 5 days depending on the volume of submissions.

Frequently Asked Questions.
How do I confirm my edit went through?
When you see the overlay below on your product in the "Products" tab, your edit has been successfully submitted for review.
Can I cancel a submission I accidentally sent?
No. Once a design is submitted for review, you cannot cancel it.
Will editing my product affect its views, sales, or ranking?
No. Because Product Edit updates your existing product rather than creating a new one, it keeps its sales history, views, and other metadata. Your product holds onto the marketplace momentum it has already built.
What happens to my product while my edit is under review?
Your original version stays live and sellable.
What happens if my edit is rejected?
[To confirm: Does the original product stay live and unchanged if an edit is rejected? Can the creator make adjustments and resubmit, and is there a limit on resubmissions? A creator reading the "these will be rejected" note in the don'ts above will want to know they won't lose their original product.]
Does my product URL stay the same after an edit?
Yes. Product Edit doesn't let you change your product's title, so your URL stays the same.
